ADVENTURE OF TWO YOUNG RIDERS FIRST EDITION MOSS BROS DATE UNKNOWN ILLUSTRATED BY T. IVESTER LLOYD Paperback original. EDITION PICTURED: First edition. SUMMARY: Not a full length novel. Pony story about kids and that old pony book stalwart, gypsies. This was written especially for Moss Bros to advertise their riding clothes.
COME ON YOUNG RIDERS FIRST EDITION MOSS BROS DATE UNKNOWN ILLUSTRATED BY PETER BIEGEL Paperback original. There appear to be two different editions with different covers but as neither are dated it's impossible to work out which one came first or indeed if they both came out together. EDITIONS PICTURED: Both variations. SUMMARY: Another short pony tale which was written especially for Moss Bros to advertise their riding clothes.
Collectors info: Adventure of Young Riders and Come on Young Riders were paperback originals and are more of an advertising gimmick than pony books as they were written for Mos Bros to showcase their range of riding clothes! However the lovely illustrations make them collectable and they are not too hard to find. Johnny Rides Out is fairly rare, all the other books can be found quite easily in the UK, although are rarer and can be pricey elsewhere. As far as I am aware only one of the titles was published in the USA.
